Glenwood Springs

This was back in Glenwood Springs! Colorado has beautiful sunsets! I dont think i can move out of Colorado i would miss it soo much!

I need to start doing more landscape photo stuff i havent done any in a while!

Motion!

For one of my projects at CMC was motion, stop motion or show motion.

My good friend Anna is a great dancer and i took the opportunity to photograph her for this project!

Final Project

My first semester of college i was up at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, sadly it was the college for me but it taught me the basics and helped me improve in my photography a lot!

For one of my photo classes our final project was a tourism project, so i chose to do the train station.

Earlier this summer my family and i went out to Iowa for my cousins wedding and while there i caught a few cute shots of my little cousin!

Best Friends Forever!

These girls are so sweet and such great friends! I have known these two throughout high school and graduated together! We all took yearbook together - and obviously didn't get anything done! 

They asked me to do some best friend pictures of them and we had so much fun in Denver! We even went in East High School and looked around and got a few photos in there!

Action!

Earlier this year i got the experience of helping one of my friends that attends the Colorado Film School.

I got the chance to do the photography on the set! 

The lighting was a little difficult - plus im no professional - but i tried my best and had fun shooting and meeting new people!

No one was hurt in these photos, these photos were for a friends movie and special make-up was done for the movie.

Earlier this summer we got the chance to go to the renaissance festival here in Colorado!

We had so much fun! It was a great experience!

Miss Jessica!

I have known Miss Jessica since my sophomore year of high school! and we have been great friends ever since! i love this girl and her crazy personality!

She loves being a model for me and i love taking pictures of her! She is beautiful person! :)

New point and shoot camera means pictures of the dogs!

So I have my big DSLR camera but i miss having a point and shoot camera to take around everywhere so i went out today and bought a cute little red canon (obviously im a canon girl! :) ) power shot camera! So the first the thing i take pictures of is obviously my dogs :)

I have also decided - to help me improve my photography and just for fun - i want to do a photo challenge. I've seen other photographers do these but i saw one where this photographer went out and took pictures everyday for however long and he limited himself to only 30 pictures no more no less and he could not delete any pictures! He then edited one photo and posted it for people to see! I think i want to do something like that! Im gonna try! It'll get me to use my DSLR or my new power shot and help me improve my photo especially since i am not taking any photo classes this semester :(

Miss Kelsey

Miss Kelsey! I love her! We met in high school and went with a bunch of our friends to prom!

We've been wanting to do a photo shoot and for the longest time, our schedules just never matched up and finally we go the perfect summer day to shoot!  

She is such a great girl with a great personality!!
